Sample cover letter to request projects from a software company?

hi.. I am working in a software company and I need to prepare a letter, requesting companies to share any projects if they have or to have a tie up with us. I have prepared the company profile to send and i need to write the cover letter. Can anyone provide me the format for it or a sample letter which i could see.
